The other day I had the chance to sit down with a friend I haven’t seen for a while. His wife is pretty sick — bedridden with MS. I don’t think anybody except immediate family sees much of him lately, so I considered it a rare gift when he sat down next to me and asked me how I’d been doing. “You look great!” he said. “What’s been keeping you busy these days?”
