The other day I ran across this article in Psychology Today — “3 Ways to Outsmart You Inner Critic.” You know, that voice inside our heads that’s forever saying stuff like, “You’re fat, ugly, lazy, stupid, etc. etc.”

Step 1 suggested we name our critic. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and settle yourself into a meditative mood. Examine the voice closely. Describe it…
