An easy way to tell if you’re seeing clinical depression or abusive manipulation

Today, I want to talk about something that looks a bit like suicidal depression, but isn’t. I’ll begin by expressing an opinion that hasn’t won me any popularity contests in the past.

If you told me you wanted to kill yourself, I probably would not believe you.
